He is son to Kovu and Kiara, and grandson to Simba.

Here is what Leoman has to say about him:
His name is Hodari, translated from Swahili, it means brave.
He is much larger than most lions, despite being only a teen and for this reason, many cubs fear him. He, for the most part, doesn't really like the fact that he's so big, but he is still very caring of all the creatures around him..although he is insecure and gets saddened when a cub runs from him.
To put it simply; he's fine most of the time, but a bit depressive around cubs.
